The new head of Zurich’s property development arm Zurich Australian Property Holdings (ZAPH), Reto Buehler will lead the project with assistance from us.
We’ve been working closely with ZAPH on all aspects of the North Sydney project since 2015 and have teamed-up with Generate Property Group for the final stages of the project. Together we’ll work with Reto and the broader team at ZAPH to deliver investment performance, construction quality and risk management for the project.
White & Partners had previously worked with Generate on projects for BHP and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, so it was an easy alliance to form and provides extraordinary expertise for ZAPH
Sydney’s busy construction market required an innovative approach to selecting a builder, with new tier-one contractor Roberts Pizzarotti appointed for Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and the design and construct contract.
This approach saved ZAPH several months, reducing overall cost and containing risk much earlier in the program than is normal. The ECI process built early trust and confidence amongst the team and enabled design and quality to be refined with specialist input from the construction team before finalising the contract price.
ZAPH has put great trust in us for what will become a new landmark on the North Sydney skyline. We are honoured to be a part of their team.
